Hemmer Motorsports Championships crowned and career firsts 2026 snocross

#710 – Adam Ashline – Pro-Lite
After the success of the east coast swing, Adam continued to show strong results though the rest of the season, with consistency in his finals at both ERX and Eagle River with a pair of 5th place finishes and an 8th, showing that not only is he a comfortable on the new-to- him Polaris, but also one to keep an eye on next year. Going into the final weekend of the year, confidence was at an all-time high for Adam. Coming out swinging from the first time he hit the track as one of the fastest times and carrying that momentum through both heats and into the first Final of the weekend. Adam would ride from mid-pack up to 3rd place and earn yet another impressive podium. The final race day of the year would bring similar confidence, as Adam would have perfect qualifying runs with a pair of first place finishes giving him the top qualifier heading into the final. When the light went green, Adam rocketed off the line, coming out around 5th place, and by lap 2 had worked his way to 2nd. On lap 3, the pass for the lead was made and Adam never looked back. With a commanding lead, Adam would take his first ever Pro-Lite victory to cap off his season!
#15 – Avery Hemmer – Pro-Am Women
After another weekend sweep to finish off the east-coast swing, Avery came into her hometown race at ERX Motor Park riding a wave of confidence. After some great runs in qualifying, Avery would rocket off the line and around the first turn, only to have another rider come into her and end up on the ground shortly after the first corner. Avery would get up and charge her way back through the field from dead last, making it back up to 6th place by the time the checkers flew. Day 2 would look much the same, going into the night’s final as the top qualifier. This time, she would come out of the first turn around 5th and quickly work her way into second where she would stalk the leader through the entire race and ultimately end up the runner-up after a great battle with the leader. The penultimate rounds of the 2026 Championship took place in Eagle River, WI and it proved to be one Avery won’t forget. Once again strong qualifying runs would put her into the final as 2nd qualifier, however from there the chaos would ensue. Off the start, a crash that took out about half of the field and would cause a red flag and restart. Avery would return to the line with a brake that wouldn’t function, a sled that was twisted, and no way to fix the sled(you are not allowed to touch the machine after a red flag). When the race restarted, Avery once again got a great start, tucked to the inside of the first turn, and worked her way into the lead in the first couple of laps and set sail to another win! After assessing the damage to the machine, Saturday would see a switch to a backup sled. The day would look much the same, with great qualifying runs and a great pick for the final, Avery would once again rocket to an early lead and never look back as she rode away to the win. This win also secured her the Pro-Am Women’s Championship for the 2026 season!
After a few weekends off from racing, Avery headed into Duluth with no pressure, and a shiny new #1 on her machine and jersey. That was about where the fun would end, after a small mishap caused an elbow injury during practice, Avery gutted out a pair of 1st places in qualifying, only to have a mechanical put a premature end to her night in the final. Saturday would look much the same, with 1-2 scores giving her second pick into the final. A poor start would leave her charging toward the front but ultimately having to settle for 2nd to end her season.
#005 – Lila Hemmer – Junior Girls 9-13
Lila would prove she came to play when we showed up to ERX, carding her first win of her career in dominating fashion in front of the hometown crowd, then backing it up with another win the next weekend in Eagle River. At Duluth Lila was on a mission but ultimately brough home a 7th on Friday and 2nd on Saturday, ending the season strong and finishing a career best 2nd in the year-end points standings! Lila also was awarded the Fan Voted “Most Improved Racer” award from Snocross on Saturday Night.
