Cottew Motorsports Cam Cole Clinches Championship at Duluth

Cottew Motorsports capped off the 2026 season with a defining moment as Cam Cole secured the National Pro Lite Championship, winning Friday night’s final by a razor-thin margin of .0031 seconds. The Duluth Grand Finale delivered the drama, determination, and emotion befitting a true championship finish.
Cam Cole Shines Under Pressure
Cole entered the weekend with focus and confidence, and his performance sealed a season-long pursuit of excellence. The championship-clinching win marked the culmination of countless hours of hard work and persistence from both the rider and the entire Cottew Motorsports team.
On Saturday, Cole stepped up to make his Pro debut. After a challenging Round One that saw contact with another rider result in a 6th place finish, he rebounded with an impressive 2nd place in Round Two. In the Pro Final, Cole launched from 10th on the line and battled through the longer, faster-paced race to take home 6th in his first-ever Pro final—an outstanding debut at the sport’s elite level.
A Welcome Return for Bobby LePage
The weekend also featured the exciting return of Bobby LePage, one of Cottew Motorsports original riders. Competing in the Pro +30 class, LePage brought his signature energy and spirit to the team paddock, finishing 6th in Friday’s final. He carried that momentum into Saturday, going 3-1 in his rounds and finishing just off the podium in 4th. His presence reminded fans and team members alike of the camaraderie and passion that define Cottew Motorsports.
Fan Favorite Recognition
In recognition of his performance, sportsmanship, and connection with fans, Cam Cole received the ISOC Fan Favorite Award, a special honor determined entirely by fan votes. This accolade underscores the respect and support Cam has earned within the snowmobile racing community.
Team Perseverance and Gratitude
“This season tested us in every way possible,” said the Cottew Motorsports team. “We’ve faced tough races and long days, but every struggle made this victory even more meaningful. None of it would be possible without our dedicated team members, our incredible sponsors, Polaris, and ISOC.”
As the championship celebrations wrap up, the team is already shifting focus to the off-season. The work continues, driven by the same determination that brought Cottew Motorsports to the top of the podium.
