Mailloux Racing has another pro podium to conclude CSRA Championship

The Mailloux Racing team concluded its season on the CSRA circuit last weekend, March 23-24, during the Grande Finale and third round of the Canadian CSRA Snowcross Championship which took place on the ski slopes of Horseshoe Resort, just north of Barrie, Ontario.

It was a two-part weekend for Nathan, with lows on Saturday and highs on Sunday, to conclude this first season in the Pro class for our Ski-Doo rider #111. The first day takes place on Saturday evening for the Pros. Nathan does not have a good start in the first qualifying heat and he finishes in 4th position. In the second heat, Nathan runs a great race, overtaking for the lead and the victory. Unfortunately, a controversial decision penalizes Nathan and gives him 6th place. Nathan will therefore have to start the final from the back row. Lots of action in this final including two red flags. Nathan still moved up the pack and he was in 5th position towards the end of the race while unfortunately his engine gave up and he will be ranked in 11th position.

After changing sleds for Sunday, Nathan had some good races and finishes 3rd and 2nd in his two qualifying rounds. Qualified 4th for the final, Nathan found himself in 8th place following the start, but he made a good comeback and he crosses the finish line with 3rd place on the podium. Nathan thus ends his first season in the Pro class and his CSRA Championship in 5th position. This is not what we had as a goal, but Nathan learned a lot and he will be back even stronger next season.
