We returned to ERX Motorpark for rounds 11 and 12 of the Amsoil snocross series this past weekend. The track design was a new layout, in the shape of a triangle with a high bank in corner one.

Weather was beyond fantastic for fans, with temps nearing 50 degrees!

Friday started out a set of thirds for Travis Kern and some tough for qualifying rounds, Cole Cottew. A great start in the final found Travis near the front of the pack! He was able to finish on the podium on 3rd place! Cole had to start in the second row for the final, and found himself in 7th when a red flag was thrown, thankfully the racer will be ok. Cole was able to capitalize on the restart, and had a high pro career finish of 4th place.

Saturday was another rough start for Travis. A track design change, and an off by the rider in front, caused Travis to land almost on top of that rider. Luckily, both riders were able to finish the race. Round two was enough to make him land the 10th spot on the line for the final. and another great start from the outside found Travis near the front again, rounding out the night with another podium! Back to back podiums for the #201 Travis Kern! What a great weekend for him! The #21 Cole Cottew went 4-3 in his rounds and was able to obtain an 7th place finish in the final after a small off.

All in all it was a great weekend for The entire Cottew Motorsports team. Looking ahead to two weeks from now when we will race at the Eagle River race complex.
